Mary Montaz Volz

Mary married her officer and gentleman, Frederick William Volz on July 18, 1945. Together they chose Dallas as their home and First Baptist Church as their church home.

Mary is survived by her daughter Marilyn Workman and Husband George of Kilgore, Texas, her son Frederick William Volz III of Lewisville, also to revel in her memory are four grandchildren; Christopher Allen and his wife Jennifer, Elizabeth Allen, Katherine Ferritlo and her husband Mike and Amy Foster and her husband Chad, thirteen great grandchildren brought her happiness and great joy.

Mary was known for her love of the Bible, her study of health and her generous spirit. We as her family know today she’s sitting at the feet of her Lord and relishing in seeing those that passed on before.

Graveside services will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
