My step-grandmother Mary was a great person.  Even though she was titled “step”…she was not a step to me…she was my grandmother in every way. I am sad to know that she is gone but very thankful that while she was here on this earth, she did so many good things for others. Always smiling, and cooking great foods and even taught me and my younger sister Lacie , how to play piano. I miss spending Thanksgiving and Christmas and all those family get together’s with her. I was blessed to have her in my life and grateful the many times that she shared stories with us that were in the Bible. She was a Christian and played beautiful music at the church she attended and was there with my stepmom, Joy, while planning my wedding every step of the way. Even, when our family went through some very challenging times, she was still there with love and support no matter what. I love you, Grandmother Mary with all of my heart and hopefully one day I will be blessed enough to see you again one day in Heaven.
