Mary Louise was born December 21st, 1929 and was a lifelong Dallasite. Her strong faith was shaped at First Baptist Church, and for the last 40 years, Mary Louise was an active member of Park Cities Baptist Church where in retirement she taught English as a Second Language and worked with the Christian Women’s Job Corps.
After graduating from SMU, where she later earned her Masters, Mary Louise taught for over 40 years. Her last 32 years, Mary Louise taught Social Studies at McCullough Middle School and Armstrong Elementary in Highland Park ISD.
Mary Louise, or GrandMary, as she is known by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Bob Milliorn, three sons, Mark (Susan), David (Tammy) and Scott (Andrea), 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The immediate family will gather for a private burial at Sparkman Hillcrest Funeral Home. Donations in her memory may be made to the HPISD Education Foundation or Park Cities Baptist Church.
