Mary Jo Gammon

Mary Jo Gammon 75, of Plano, Texas was born on February 9th, 1940 in Flint Michigan to Robert and Edna Burns. On September 21, 2015 Mary Jo entered into heaven where every day is a celebration of life that never ends.

Mary Jo was a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School, Flint, MI. She was the church secretary at All Saints Catholic Church for 12 years and was an avid golfer. Mary Jo’s first love was her family. She was always supportive, whether it be cheering from the stands while her kids were growing up or just being there to hold a hand as they had children and grandchildren of their own. She enjoyed traveling around the country visiting her family including many wonderful family reunions on Cape Cod. She never left a loved one without a hug and a “God Bless”.

Mary Jo is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Terrance and their 4 cherished children: Pam Yahoudy and her husband Eric, Jim Gammon, Jayanne Sci, John Gammon and his wife Kim. Treasured grandchildren: Joshua Yahoudy and his wife Meghan, Julia Myers and her husband Neil, and James Yahoudy; Abbie and Ashley Gammon, and Tim and Tori Sci. Precious great grandchildren: Jacob and Mattie Yahoudy, Marley Myers. She is also survived by her sister, Corrine Crocket. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers James, Robert and Tim.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, September 25th at All Saints Catholic Church. The family will receive visitors from 6 - 8 pm, Thursday at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home,7990 George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, TX.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to All Saints Catholic Church.
