Mary Louise Green,90, passed away Feb 29,2020 in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 12:00p.m. on Friday March 6, 2020 at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. The reception will follow immediately after the service on the church grounds. Arrangements are by Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery.
Mary was born in Brownsville, Tennessee to Sammie and Ophelia Currie on Jan 15, 1930. She moved to Dallas, Texas at the age of 14. Mary graduated from El Centro College with a degree in nursing.
She worked as an LVN at Parkland and Medical Arts hospital for over 40 years combined. She met and married her husband Theodore Green in and together they had two sons and a daughter. Mary was a long-time parishioner of St. Monica Church.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents Sammie and Ophelia Currie, brother Sammie Currie Jr., sisters Hazel Lister and Frances Currie, daughter Alicia Anne Dunlap, son Theodore Green III and husband Theodore Green Jr.
Mary is survived by her son Joseph Keith Green, grandsons Joseph Keith Green Jr. and Kevin Green, granddaughter Shuntel Green, great grandson Allyn Green and nephews Ronald Lister, Barry Lister and great nephews Tony Currie, Cameron Lister, Parker Lister and great niece Jessica Lister.
