Mary grew up in a farming community in Hatch, New Mexico where she graduated from Hatch Valley High School. She then attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces on a special scholarship. Mary later moved to Albuquerque and started a family. She eventually moved to Dallas where she lived for over 50 years. She worked as a bookkeeper and ended up in the high end Fashion Industry working with Miller-Randazzo. She also traveled extensively throughout the U.S and the world. Her many memories and interesting stories about places she lived and visited have kept us all entertained. She had just returned from a Panama Canal Cruise with her daughters to celebrate her 87th birthday. She was also a volunteer “Extraordinaire”. She was a docent for many years at Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park, as well as the Dallas Arboretum. Mary was very involved with her church, Grand View Baptist Church, where she worked in the Nursery and volunteered in a variety of capacities for many years. She was a member of a book club, garden club, and still traveled. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynn McHenry (Bill), Ginger Neville Jazayeri (Paul), and her grandson, Christopher Degges. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Cliff Flesher, her grandson, Skylar Degges, as well as her siblings, Shirley Hammond and Junior Moeller, and parents. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and loved by all. She was a kind, generous person, who lived a long adventurous, beautiful life. She will be missed. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22 from 12:30-1:30pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 2:00pm at Grove Hill Memorial Park. There will also be a Celebration of Life at Greenway Village at Christian Care Center, 948 Wiggins Parkway Mesquite, Texas 75150 on Saturday, June 23 from 2:00-3:30pm.
