Mary Fields, 87, passed away on January 5th in Plano, TX. Mary was born June 13, 1933 in Dallas, Texas. She often chuckled making the point that she was born on Friday the 13th. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas. She was a bookkeeper during her working years, starting with her father’s family Muffler Shop business and was working at The Arthritis Foundation when she retired in 1990.
While her children were home, she loved bowling, often bowling in 2-3 leagues at a time. Once her children were grown and grandchildren came about, her “magic” time was preparing Christmas morning breakfast. She enjoyed genealogy, taking trips throughout the country for fact finding and taking photos.
Mary was predeceased in death by her husband Lawson Eugene Fields, parents Frank and Lily Johnson, brother Phil Johnson, sister Melba Cook. She is survived by Tim Fields (son) and wife Tenna, Gina Frazier (daughter) and husband Jerry, grandchildren Rhonda Reites, Tiffany Mazyck and husband Mike, and Bo Fields and wife Kelsey, as well as great grandchildren: Madeline, Pierson, Savanna, Kyra, Jakob, Ellie, and Jaxon.
