Mary Alice Douglas

Mary Alice Douglas 3/13/1939 - 12/20/2015 Went to be welcomed into the pearly gates by the man she's known all her life, Jesus Christ. She attended the Texas school for the deaf where she was crowned Miss Explorer Queen. She Married in 1959 to Leon Laster and bore 3 Children Sonny "Tooley", Lynn, and Mark. Her career started as a printer at the Dallas Times Herald for 12 years and moved on to the Postal Service where she retired after 25 years. She will be sorely missed by the ones she left behind- her beloved Tippy. Her son Sonny Laster and wife, Angie. Her daughter Lynn Laster Allen and husband, Roney. Her son Mark Laster. Her grandchildren; Mary Hampton and husband Wade, Kasondra Allen and Jerry Carnes, Kortney Bricker and husband Josh, Sonnie Jo Sullivan and husband Jared, Summer Dawn Laster, John and Christian Baker, and Taylor Laster. Her great grandchildren; Tanner, Lily, Kash, Julian, Chandler, Peyton, Dylan, Aubree, Presley, and Jayden. Sister Rebecca Stephens. Nephews; Joe Stephens, David Kindred Niece Kathy Kindred. Many other Family members and friends- one in particular, Esther Mendoza. Proceeded in death by her parents, Bob Douglas, June & Robert Gonzales sister Dorthy, nephew Larry, and brother in law Leonard.
