Mary Larue Boyette, 86, of Plano, Texas, entered her Heavenly home on Monday, December 17, 2018. She was born on June 27, 1932, in Hackett, Arkansas, to the late George and Mary (Shockley) Armstrong.
Larue had a successful career with Shaklee Corporation, which she began in 1972 and worked up until her passing. She was a woman who loved her daughters completely. Everything she did was to take care of her “Lori Lindy” and “Shelley Jeanie”. Larue will be remembered for her sweet disposition, laughter, kindness, and being a great listener and a wonderful friend. She really cared for those she loved. More than anything, she loved the Lord. Larue will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, Larue was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Marvin Boyette; stepson, Richard Boyette; sister, Pat Arnold, and brothers, Wayne Armstrong and Gary Don Armstrong.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lori & Randy Imel and Shelley & Ed Bailey - all of Plano;
grandchildren, Clark Robert Thurston of Plano, Stephanie Ard of Austin, Adam (&Ericka) Thurston of Alabama, Olivia (&Tim) Price of Carrollton, Samantha (&Jordan) Pollock of Allen, and Garrett Ard of College Station;
great-grandchildren, Bradshaw Thurston, Niles Thurston, and Lucy Kate Price;
sisters, Ann Ibison of College Station, Beverly (&Bernie) Rubalcaba of New Hampshire, brother Frank (&Carol) Armstrong of Huntsville;
nieces and nephews, Jack (&Sheryl) Ibison, Jim Ibison, Jessie Paul Ibison, Georgeann Bolton, Debbie (&Rich) Bulger, Jodi (&Mario) Nevarez, Hannah Petty, and Josh (&Kristen) Armstrong.
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6-8pm in the Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 1:00pm, with viewing one hour prior to the service from 12-1pm, in Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th St., Plano, TX 75074.

Interment will follow at Big Springs Cemetery in Garland, where Larue “Rue” will be laid to rest next to her husband, Donald.
