Marvin Kennon Watson, a resident of Garland, TX for over 37 years, passed from this life on March 27, 2014. Mr. Watson was born October 29, 1931 in Italy, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, Audie and Opal Watson, and his brother, Jerry Watson. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Thelma Watson, daughter and son in law, Dolores and Bill, daughter and son in law, Brenda and Sid, and daughter and son in law, Pam and Paul. Also, survived by his sister and brother in law, Charles and Myrna, niece and nephews, Laura and Keith, and Jerry and Diane. Mr. Watson has nine grandchildren and has 11 great grandchildren. Marvin loved to fish and relax at the lake. He enjoyed the Food Network and Sports. He had a great sense of humor and was loved by his family. Graveside services will be held at the Grove Hill Cemetery, 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 with a Life Celebration to follow at the Watson’s home. Arrangements under the direction of Grove Hill Funeral Home, Dallas, TX.
