Martha Elena Luna, age 63, passed away on November 18, 2024 in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born on December 17, 1960 in Progresso, Texas to Benito Luna and Esperanza Luna. Martha was raised in Nuevo Progresso.
Martha adored and loved being a mother to her 4 children. She also had a passion for exercising and dancing.
Above everything she was a proud mother, grandmother and friend. Martha was the life of any gathering. She had a personality that lit up every room and a laugh that was as strong as she was. She loved being surrounded by her children, whether it was enjoying a lively game of family volleyball or dancing and cooking for those she loved. She loved staying fit and tending to her garden where everything she touched blossomed.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a person who was bold and strong. Who they hardly ever saw sitting still, whether at a party or in her kitchen, she could always be found dancing to the beat with her infectious energy and uncontainable spirit.
She is preceded in death by her father, Benito Luna and her brother, Jaime Luna.
She is survived by her daughters, Julia Elena Aguilar, Kimberly Galvan and Alejandra Galvan; her son, Benny Anthony Galvan; and her beloved granddaughters, Gisselle Sandoval and Alexandra Hernandez
