She was a beloved sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend. She had many extended family and friends with whom she loved to sit and visit with through the years.
Martha loved to travel with her family. When her children were young every summer the family would travel around America to visit every national or state park within reach of a Chevrolet pickup during the annual vacation. To her, there was always a new sight to be seen, another trail to be walked, another relative or friend to be visited, and another adventure to experience. When the children were grown, she and her husband, Tim, traveled to Europe to follow the trail the 86th Infantry Division followed during World War II. In her later years there were thousands of photographs to be shared, hours of movies to be watched, memories to recount and experiences to be relived with her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and life-long friends. She lived life to the fullest.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.teddickeywestfuneral.com for the Duke family.
