He married Margarita Carreon on April 16, 1969 and the couple had four children. He was a machine operator at FoamEx Industries where he worked for 30 years. In July 2008 Mario became a U.S. citizen.
In his spare time Mario enjoyed listening to music, playing pool, watching the Texas Rangers, boxing matches, cooking seafood and going fishing.
His family and friends will always remember him as a sociable person, very giving and willing to help everyone and anyone in need. He loved to visit family and friends and shop. He will also be remembered for his sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his Parents: Victor Carreon, Sr. and Maria De La Luz Arriaga and by his son, Jaime Alberto Carreon and sister, Zoila Garcia.
