Marilyn Bosse Whiteside

Marilyn Bosse Whiteside went to join her Lord on May 5, 2023. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. We will miss her infectious smile, quick wit, loving support and laughter everyday. She was born to Henry and Emma Bosse on October 7, 1929 in Evansville, IN. She attended the University of Indiana where she joined her beloved Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was looking forward to receiving her 75 yr pin of membership this fall.

Marilyn loved entertaining, volunteering and socializing. Over the years, Marilyn was a member of New Orleans Jr League, Jr League of Dallas, Assistance League, Dallas Women’s Club, Northwood Women’s Club, Marianne Scruggs Garden Club, Mary K. Craig Class, Dine-out Group, Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association and many more. She serviced as President, Treasurer and many other officer positions for many of her beloved organization. Marilyn had a strong love for her church family at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Dallas. She enjoyed serving as treasurer to the Corinthian Bible Class for over thirty years.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister, first and second husband and sons. She is survived by her loving daughters, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends.

Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 12th at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Dallas. Viewing is at 10:30 AM in the narthex.
