Ma. Socorro Villanueva was born on July 19, 1933 and passed away on November 1, 2014. She was a beloved and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. The family would like to thank the staff at UT Southwestern for providing compassionate care for their mother. Socorro was a woman of great faith in life. She will be greatly missed by all who love her. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paulino Villanueva; 1 brother, Pablo Sigala; 9 children, Juan Manuel Villanueva, Juan Villanueva, Mari Ceja, Teresa Villanueva, Alicia Villanueva, Rosalinda Villanueva, Maurilia Foster, Raul Villanueva, Paulino Villanueva Jr; 33 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; 2 son-in-laws; 3 daughter-in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her children; Antonio, Jose Luis, and Miguel Angel. Family will receive friends on November 4, 2014 from 2pm-8pm with a rosary beginning at 6pm at Gonzalez Funeral Home, Dallas, TX. Funeral Services will be held on November 5, 2014 at 10am, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 1809 W. Davis, Dallas, TX followed by interment at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
