Maria de la Luz (Najera) Valle went to be with our Heavenly Father on October 16, 2023. She was born on February 16, 1936 in Malikoff, Texas to Pedro and Eulalia (Mejia) Najera. She is preceded in death by her husband Leon Valle, son Gregory J. Valle, brothers Gilbert Najera, Edward Najera, Alfonso, Najera, sister Florinda Contreras.

She is survived by her Daughter Carolyn(Roger) Sowers, Grandchildren Roger(Cassie) Sowers, Austin(Kathleen) Sowers, Skyler(Aaron) Sowers, all from Mathis, Texas and Brianna Carrion of Dallas, TX , Great-Grandchildren Mason Sowers, Emma Sowers, Jaxon Sowers, Kaysen Sowers, and Julius Perales, sisters Concepcion Vasquez Najera, Alicia (Najera) Guerrero, Margarita (Najera) Barrera, Brother Pedro Najera Jr. and along with several Nieces and Nephews.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:20 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228 (Garden of Faith).
