Maria graduated from Bridge City High School in Bridge City, Texas. Upon high school, she was employed with the Dallas Independent School District (DISD) where she was a dedicated employee for 20+ years.
Full of joy and life, Maria loved to joke and make people smile. Her hobbies included, crocheting, reading, dancing, singing and baking. In her spare time Maria also loved to watch horror movies and her favorite show, “Walking Dead”.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Jaime Alonzo and Maria De Jesus Trejo.
Maria is survived by; husband, J. Jesus Guerrero; daughter, Maria Guerrero and husband, Jose Osorto; two sons, Jose Guerrero and wife, Felisha Laureano and Jason Guerrero and wife Liliana Garcia; six grandchildren, Laila, Damien, Izaac, Alondra, Maleah and A.J. and many more nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
