Margaret Ann Cobb

Margaret was born on April 10, 1944, in Dallas, Texas to the late Jesse Irene (Chaney) Lackey and William Pleasant Lackey.

Margaret had an electric personality that was larger than life. Her sense of humor and her spunk made many people absolutely adore her. Not only was she a strong, vivacious woman, she was a caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family unconditionally and always put family first.

She is survived by her three daughters: Stacey Cobb (David Blank) of Seaside, OR Angelina Reyes of Dallas, TX and Misty Cobb of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren: Roy Dale New of Lodi, CA, Martin Reyes of Dallas, TX, William Gambrell of Dallas, TX, Jessica Forrester of Lodi, CA, Holly Gambrell of Dallas, TX, Terra Wolden of Seaside, OR and Amanda Sanchez of Dallas, TX; three great-grandchildren: Makai Reyes of Mesquite, TX, Alex Gambrell of Blooming Grove, TX and Samuel Gambrell of Blooming Grove, TX. She is also survived by countless nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Irene and William Lackey; numerous brother in-laws and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Her beloved cat, Skittles, preceded her in death as well.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A celebration of life will occur Friday, December 2, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A committal service will occur Friday, December 2, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
