Mr. Marcus Eudell Sensel

Marc was born on October 19, 1944 to Albert and Vergie Sensel in Cincinatti, OH. After Marc graduated from Newport Highschool he pursued a degree at the University of Kentucky.

He went to work at Cincinnati Gas and Electric, then years later worked for Hershey Chocolate Co. He then moved to the Dallas area after being transferred with Hershey.

On October 23, 1965, he married Shirley J. Sensel in Newport, KY. They were married 29 years and had 4 kids, Traci, Scott, Krista, and Stephen. Shirley passed in 1994.

On November 15, 1997, he married his second wife, Lindsey Lyday Sensel, They were married 24 years. He retired in 2010 and lived in Red Oak, TX.

He attended Eastridge Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

Marc was preceded in death by his wife Shirley and granddaughter, Riley. Marc is survived by wife Lindsey, his children Traci Roland, Krista Pender, Scott Sensel, Stephen Sensel, Scott Lyday and their spouses, grandchildren Ashley, Shelby, Seth, Wesley, Mason, Tanner, Ellie, Caleb, Isaac, Aaron, and great grandson, James, and many other family and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Laurel Land Funeral Home from 6-7pm. Services will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L. Thornton Frwy, Dallas, Tx 75232 on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 2pm. Burial to follow at Little Bethel Memorial Park.
