Lydia Kaye Crouch Allen, 63, passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 26, 2016, in Grand Prairie, Texas. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on August 31, 2016 at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 12 PM on September 1, 2016 at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 S. R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas. Burial will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery. Pastor, Bobby E. Williams II, with Temple of Praise Church, in Dallas, Texas, will be officiating. Kaye was born in Waxahachie, Texas to John R. and Eula Lucille Crouch. She was married to Cornelius Allen for 29 years. She graduated from Waxahachie High School. She retired from Home Depot after serving in several positions. Kaye is preceded in death by her parents, John and Eula Lucille Crouch, three sisters, Etta Crouch, Faye Conner, and Johnnie Lucille Newton. Kaye is survived by her husband, Cornelius Allen, three sisters, Joyce Wilkerson, Ruth Hill and her husband, Jim Hill, and Alecia Gladney, Charles Conner, brother-in-law, Mary Turner, aunt, twelve nieces and nephews and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews. From the Cornelius Allen family, Kaye is survived by eight step children and ten sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
