Born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico on November 15,1946 and being of strong will and determination, she immigrated to the U.S., raising 13 children: Victor, Francisco, Juan Jose, Yoli, Ana Maria, Alfredo, Luz, Elizabeth, Harry, Sandra, Selina, Jaime, Carlos with 25 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Affectionately known to all as Mommy Luz for her loving care and nurturing spirit. Luz was an amazing cook and seamstress as well as a hard working employee in the manufacturing sector before retiring and devoting more time to her family.
Though she will be greatly missed, we take comfort in knowing that the Lord our Savior came for her on this most blessed day-Easter Sunday! That she will know only peace and love and joy as she is greeted by her maker and reunited with loved ones.
It is said that someone never truly dies as long as memories survive and their name is spoken. If so, then Mommy Luz will be with us for many years to come!
The family wishes to thank everyone for all their kind words and support, but especially for all the love and togetherness!
Mommy Luz and Dad would be proud.
