Lupe R. Rojas was born in Marlin, Texas on December 11, 1934 to Aniceto Rojas and Andrea Rosas. He passed away in the comfort of his home in Dallas, Texas on July 2, 2016. Lupe had a fulfilling career of welding for Master Tank and Welding for over 23 years. He retired in December 1986. Lupe is loved and will be greatly missed by all those whose heart he touched. He is survived by wife, Aurora “Dora” Rojas; children, Lupe Rojas, Jr., Mary Helen Rodriguez, Andrew Rojas, Russell S. Rojas, and Ishmael Rojas; 30 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Kruse Rojas, Sr., and numerous friends. He joins his parents, Andrea Rojas & Aniceto Rojas and siblings, Benito Rojas, Gavina Laurel, Ramona Perez, Frank Rojas and Susana Rojas to be with Our Lord and Savior. Lupe’s grandsons will be serving as pallbearers, Lupe Rojas III, Aaron Orta, Jr., Andrew Rojas, Jr., Russell S. Rojas, Jr., Anthony Rojas, and Juan Pablo Rojas. Services will be held in the chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM, with the Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 12:00 PM. Burial will be held at the Calvary Hill Cemetery, with a reception to follow at The Amvest located at 3900 W. Davis Street, Dallas, TX 75211.
