Lula Mae Williams

Lula Mae Williams was born to Oressie and Clyde Armstrong on Monday, January 06, 1941 in Cuney, Texas. Lula gave her life to Christ at a very early age. She attended and graduated from James Madison High School, Class of 1959. Lula decided to continue her education and graduated from Southern Bible Institute in 1987. She retired from Lucent Technologies, after thirty years of service. Lula loved her family and friends and church family but she LOVED fishing.

On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, Lula Mae Armstrong entered into her eternal home of Glory. She was welcomed by her parents, Oressie and Clyde Lee Armstrong; her husband, Raymond Williams; sister, Annie Marie Armstrong and brother, Jessie Ray Armstrong.

Mother Lula Mae Williams, Life, Love and Legacy will always be remembered by her children, Monica Pinkard (Dwain), Veronica Okaroh and Ernest L. James (Diann); eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Clyde Armstrong, Henry Armstrong and John Kennedy Wofford; best friend, Geneva Sessions and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
