Loyd attended North Dallas High School and went on later to attend The University of Texas at Arlington to become a Civil Engineer.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Gore Banno and her husband Charlie Banno, son Tony Gore, Michelle and Tony's mother, Susie Gore, also, daughter, Vicki Freeman and her husband Brian Freeman as well as Vicki's mother Sharon Harrell. Grandchildren: Collin and Camaron Banno, Lola, Peanut, Daisy, Betty and Chloe.
His passions included fishing, playing pool with his son Tony, spending time with his family (including his late dog Trouble) and his relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Loyd was a very loving and thoughtful man who touched many lives. He will be dearly missed.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1pm with the Funeral Service immediately following at 2pm. Both services will be at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
