Castro, age 90, passed away on March 22, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 2nd, 1929 in Dallas, Texas to Francisco Arellano and Maria Medina. She attended school up to fourth grade.

She married John Jimmy Castro and the couple had 4 children. She was a single needle operator at Parkland Sewing Manufacturing where she worked for more than 20 years.

In her spare time Louisa, enjoyed sewing and being with family.

Her family and friends will always remember her as "The Grandma with the farm".

She is preceded in death by, husband, John Jimmy Castro and son, Benito Castro.

Survived by: brother, Marcus Arellano; children, Linda Green, Jesse Castro and Maria Hale; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren
