It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved son, father, and pap pap, Louis Ernest Williams. Louis was called home Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 9:53 am to be with the Lord. We take comfort in knowing his pain and suffering have been taken away and he is rejoicing in the Father’s house. (Hopefully, the music turned all the way up as he enjoyed it.)
We will forever remember the Dad who cooked breakfast on the weekends before heading out to a full day of soccer games, and his passion during each game played, as he was always the loudest and proudest parent there. We will remember the Dad who spent evenings after dinner playing soccer in the backyard until dark and always welcoming anyone who wanted to join in. We will remember the Dad who, even up until the end, encouraged us to do great things and was never lacking in voice to let us know how much he loved us and how proud he was of us. We will remember the Dad who strongly desired to be a part of everyone’s life, and although life’s struggles got in the way, we will cherish the good memories and share those with our children. We choose to remember the Dad who deeply loved living and loved his children and grandchildren with everything he had to give.
Friends will remember Louis as the guy who never met a stranger, life of the party, easy-going, always adventure-ready, dedicated lifelong Cowboys fan, deeply passionate and equally intense soccer fanatic (Glory, Glory Man United!), music lover, child of God, and a very proud father and pap pap. He no longer has to find the nearest restaurant televising the games, because Dad forever has the best seat in the house.
Louis is survived by his three children, Justin Williams, Jayme Forston and husband Jacob, Jarryd Williams and wife Kristin; grandchildren, Cheyenne Forston, Savannah Forston, Gracelynn Forston, Beckett Williams, Kelsie Williams, Rylann Williams, Adilynn Williams, Declann Williams, Emma Forston, Ellie Williams, and Thomas Forston; parents, Roy and Rodelyn Williams; brothers, Barry Williams and wife Chris, Charlie Williams and wife Shonda, Brian Williams and wife Tammy; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service for Louis will be held Friday, September 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220.
