Born November 11, 1928 to Harvey M. Phillips and Ina May Jones Phillips. Born in Dallas, TX at Methodist Hospital.
Preceded in death by her husband D.L Rickett and her son Douglas L. Rickett.
Survived by her daughter, Martha Rickett Pettus, Son in Law William S. Pettus, Grandson Daniel and his wife Erin, and one great-grand child Charlotte.
Lois was a woman of many talents. She was a Respiratory Therapist by profession, also a teacher of Arts and Crafts. She enjoyed the many aspects of needlework, gardening and was an avid reader.
A visitation for Lois will be held Monday, October 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
