She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Grady, Clinton and Loyd; and sisters, Mae and Joyce.
After moving to Dallas in 1940, Lois was blessed to have two great loves, Roy Jordan and Gene Cox, who both preceded her in death.
Lois is survived by her sons, Ray and Ronny Jordan; her daughters-in-law, Elizabeth and Velvet; her grandchildren, Robyn Leone, Travis Jordan, and Jessi and Elli Jordan; her great-grandchildren Jordan Leone and Oliver Jordan; her nieces Donna, Sandra and Gale; and numerous other great nieces and nephews.
She worked for Murray Gin Co. in Dallas and retired as pastry cook from Gaston Junior High, where she enjoyed baking for the kids. Her passions were cooking and gardening. In her later years, she shared her kitchen with her granddaughters Jessi and Elli, making treats for the family. When asked to make a chocolate pie for holidays, she always showed up with at least 4, all different flavors. Lois loved to feed anyone who darkened her doorstep and she was always there to help out with friends or family in need. She loved growing flowers and plants and being outdoors on her patio. In her younger years, she spent many a day at Lake Texoma, boating and visiting with beloved family.
She will be interred in a private gathering at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
