Lindsay Nicole Lash

Lindsay left behind a 20-foot moving truck full of stuff from three different locations that her brother, sisters and cousins have no idea what to do with. Famous for her habitual presence at local malls there wasn’t an article of clothing, costume jewelry, handbag or shoe that she wouldn’t give you. Born on November 22, 1981, in Springfield, Missouri, she was the daughter of Donald R. Lash, D.O. and Debbie L. Shanholtz Lash. Lindsay began her education in Seneca, Missouri; graduated from Mohave High School in Bullhead City, Arizona; completed cosmetology school in Athens, Texas; and then graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacanowhere, Texas. Lindsay’s gregarious nature, contagious smile and infectious laugh meant that she never met a stranger and she routinely brought home strays and friends. Like an additional appendage, Lindsay was never without her phone; always talking with her loved ones and surfing the Internet on her tablet. When she wasn’t doing that she was taking treats to her work family at AT&T Corporate Offices in their Customer Service Department. She adored her job and the people she worked with, often sharing stories with her family.

Shopping, singing karaoke, scuba diving, and vacationing anywhere near water, were activities she loved. Lindsay would meet you anywhere. Notorious for pushing the envelope, you would never know who would show up, the blond, the brunette, or the ginger.

Although, Lindsay’s family is a little overwhelmed about the treasures left behind, (including Fruit Loops and stale pizza found in the backseat of her car, and unpaid toll bills where clearly she is giving that special finger to the North Texas Transit Authority) these treasures are all clues that remind us of her loving heart, generous spirit, and spunky personality. We know Lindsay is in heaven reunited with her parents and grandparents with a smile on her face and a song in her heart. An adored daughter, beloved sister, wonderful aunt, awesome cousin, treasured niece and generous friend, Lindsay will be greatly missed.

Lindsay was predeceased in death by her parents Donald R. Lash, D.O. and Debbie L. Shanholtz Lash; grandparents, Virginia and William Shanholtz Sr; Madeline and John Lash D.O. She is survived by her stepmother Pam Lash of Dallas, TX; brother Dustin Lash D.O. of Dothan, AL and his wife Kay, sisters Stephanie Plummer of Flower Mound, TX and Kim Stibich of Little Rock, AR, two nieces Katie Plummer of Flower Mound, TX; Alexia Stibich and nephew Stefan Stibich of Little Rock, AR; her Uncle Bill and Aunt Karen Shanholtz of Tyler, TX; Aunt Kay Phillipson of San Juan Capistrano, CA; Aunt Linda and Uncle Jim Lash D.O. of Bullhead City, AZ; Uncle Jeff Lash D.O. of the Philippines; her Godparents Debbie and Brian Mitchell of Racine, MO; numerous cousins, extended family and a plethora of friends.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 pm, on Tuesday, August 30, at Lago del Pino, 14706 County Road 1134, Tyler, TX, 75709.
