Linda Williams-White gave birth to seven beautiful children Juan, Stephanie, Angela, Charles, Jason, Cristy and Tiffany. Linda Williams-White raised her children with unconditional love, support, and devotion.
In 1967, Linda Mae Bell moved to Dallas, Texas, to pursue an education in cosmetology at Velma B's Beauty Academy, where she became a licensed cosmetologist.
In 1970, Linda Mae Bell married Charles Lloyd Williams, Sr.
In 1970, Linda Williams-White gave her life to Christ at the Full Gospel Holy Temple Church under the leadership of the late Apostle Lobias Murray, where she served faithfully for almost 20 years.
In 1971, Linda Williams-White began her professional journey at Sears-Roebuck.
In 1979, Linda Williams-White began school to receive a clerk certification while working full-time, pregnant, and raising six children.
In 1980, as a result of receiving her certification, she was employed with the Dallas Public Library, where, because of a strong work ethic and faithfulness, she quickly rose to the rank of Manager. Linda Williams - White was the 1st African American to serve in a managerial position in the Dallas Public Library. During her tenure with the Dallas Public Library, Linda Williams-White received numerous awards, commendations, and certifications. Linda Williams-White retired in March of 2013 from the Dallas Public Library after 33 years of Faithful Service.
In 1988, Linda Williams-White joined Faithful Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor N.C. Sargent, where she served faithfully for over 30 years until her passing.
In 1994, Linda Williams married James White, to whom she remained dedicated, faithful, and loyal until his death on October 11, 2023.
In 1997, Linda Williams-White graduated from Dallas Baptist University with her Bachelor's in Applied Business Administration.
In 2024, Linda Mae Williams-White departed from her loving family on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She entered into her eternal home along with her husband, James White; father, Joseph Bell, Sr.; mother, Mamie Bell; brother, Joseph Bell, Jr.; sisters, Cora Lee, Pearly Bell and Sylvina Lee Riley.
Leaving to mourn are her seven children, Juan Bell (Keturah), Stephanie Clark (Lonnie), Angela Williams, Charles Williams, Jr. (Gloria), Jason Williams, Sr. (Debora), Cristy Williams and Tiffany Williams; one brother, Hebert Bell; twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
