Linda Forst, 75, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday May 6, 2023 surrounded by family. Linda was born October 6, 1947, in Troy, New York, to parents Pasquale & Anna Tedesco. Her parents relocated their family to Dallas, Texas when she was a young child. Linda went on to graduate from Bryan Adams High School of Dallas in 1965. In May of 1968, she was united in marriage to Charles Forst in Dallas, Texas.
Linda spent much of her time devoted to her husband and children, volunteering at school and seeing to their daily care. She was also an artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. After her children were grown, Linda worked for several years painting needlepoint canvases for Christmas stocking patterns. She also spent many years as a caregiver to her grandchildren and other close friends’ children. Linda especially loved shopping with her sisters and sharing in her children and grandchildren’s everyday lives.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Forst; her parents Pasquale and Anna Tedesco of Dallas, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Hilda Forst of Glenn Heights, Texas; and brother Reginald Tedesco and his wife Terri.
Survivors include her son, Michael Forst (wife Jennifer), of Ennis, her daughter, Melissa Acosta (husband Jesse), of Dallas; her grandchildren, Corbin, Jacob, Marisa and Juliana; her sisters: Sharon Gallia (husband Marvin), Francine Knezek, Barbara Ziesk (husband Arthur), brother Gregory Tedesco (wife Barbara) and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 5pm to 8pm, Wednesday, May 17th at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, Texas 75220. A Mass will be celebrated at Calvary Hill Main Mausoleum North Chapel on Thursday, May 18th at noon. Burial immediately following Mass, at the Dallas–Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211.
