Leonarda Cortinez Lopez

Leonarda C. Lopez, 81, of Dallas, TX passed away on January 25, 2020. She was born August 20, 1938 in Ballinger, TX to Mr. Pedro and Mrs. Juana Quinina Cortinez. Leonarda enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family. She worked as a professional seamstress for many years, but especially loved creating custom garments, including making wonderful shirts for her adoring husband Antonio, and their children. She was a beautiful, soulful, god fearing woman who loved the Lord Father God. Her faith was important to her, and she was a long time parishioner at St Edward Catholic Church in Dallas. Leonarda will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Leonarda is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Juana Cortinez; siblings, Pauline Cortinez Torres, Mary Rodriguez, Lupe Cortinez, Rickey Cortinez, and Ramon Cortine. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Antonio Preciado Lopez; her children, Antonio Cortinez Lopez and Linda Lou Lopez; grandchildren, Cindy Renee Morris Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, Christina Maria Morris, Amber Starr Rodriguez, Nana Leonarda Lopez, and Antonio Jesus Marvin Lopez; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez, Jr., and Brianna Lenora Gonzalez; and her great-great-grandchild, Isabella Nichole Gonzalez.
