He grew up in Osmond, Nebraska as the 2nd child of four.
Leonard married twice and out of the two marriages had two beautiful daughter; Lana and JoAna Miller. He also had one amazing son, Chris Young. His latest marriage was to Karen Young who passed in 2004. Leonard will be laid to rest next to Karen in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Leonard Lee Young owned and operated his own trucking company for many years then went to work for Trac-Works till he retired. He was known to be a very hard worker and accomplished any goal he set for himself.
He was part of a Corvette club and he loved to drive and show off his Corvette. He was a walking map, he knew the directions to anywhere! He was as huge history buff and a John Wayne fan. He was a gambling man and often enjoyed going to the Casinos. He loved his home and one of his favorite places to be if not on the open road or with his family was sitting in the living room in his chair or in the kitchen drinking a cup of joe. The happiest Leonard was in life was with his family.
Any one who knew him knew he was a stubborn, opinionated and very stern man but had a big heart for the people he loved.
Leonard Lee Young will be greatly missed by many as a Father, Grandfather, Uncle and friend.

Leonard is survived by; Daughter Lana Miller; and Daughter JoAna Miller; Granddaughter Courtney Ward, Granddaughter Krysten Miller, Granddaughter Jetta Miller, Grandson Jake Miller, Granddaughter Melody Miller, Grandson Noah Miller and Nephew Troy Young, who was like a second son to him.
Leonard was preceded in death by his Wife Karen Young; Son Chris Young; Father Frank Young and Mother Dorothy Young; Sister Sandra Young; Sister Sharon Young and Brother Gary Young.
Leonard Lee Young will be laid to rest next to his wife, Karen Young on Saturday February 8, 2020 at 3 PM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 8701 Northwest Expressway Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
