Larry Wayne Wilson was born to the late Sam and Mary Wilson on February 28, 1954 in Dallas Texas. He attended several Dallas Schools: Paul L. Dunbar,
Pearl C. Anderson, and graduated in 1972 from W.W. Samuel High. In 1980, Larry became the proud father of Apryle Wilson-Woodson. He proved to be a very loving and dedicated "Daddy". At a young age Larry made the most important decision in life, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. He united with Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in the early 1990's where he served on the Parking Lot, and AWANA ministries. In 2007 Larry became a servant at the Holy Spirit Baptist Church where he served faithfully until death. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his beloved wife, Missie, his daughter, Apryle Woodson (Marchella); his stepson, Marques Miles (India), his grandson, Caleb Miles; six siblings, Sam Wilson, Jr. (Wilma Jean), Margaret Godbolt, Raymond Wilson, Oliver Wilson (Eula), Sandra Wilson, and Marilyn Wilson; a host of relatives and friends.
