Larry Guerra passed away peacefully in Irving, Texas on March 9, 2017 at the age of 48. A loving father he is survived by his 4 children; Adrianna Guerra-Razo, Gabrielle Guerra, Larry Adam Guerra, Christopher Guerra, his mother, Teadora Guerra, brother Lorenzo Guerra Jr., sister Bernice Guerra and was dear grandfather to Matthew, Aria, Alaina, Nevaeh and Jessa. His father, Lorenzo Guerra Sr. precedes him in death by 4 years.
Larry Guerra was born on November 16, 1968 in Dallas, Texas to Lorenzo Guerra Sr. and Teadora Guerra. He was raised in Irving, Texas and attended Irving High School. Growing up he was a well-known athlete playing basketball, football and running track. He was known for his stunning smile, big heart, goofy sense of humor and his fun and daring ways. He made a life for his family as a hard worker in the printing industry for 26 years. He loved rocking out to Metallica, Guns and Roses, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen and Stone Temple Pilots while he grilled out and spent time with his family. As a life-time Dallas county resident Larry was an ultimate fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Rangers.
All Services will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. The visitation and viewing is Wednesday, March 15 from 5pm-9pm with a Rosary at 7 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16th at 10 AM. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Larry's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
