Kristin "Kristy" Gayle McKoy

She is survived by her parents, Errol and Sandy McKoy; sister Paige McKoy Bower and husband Michael Bower; nephew Alex Bower; nieces Anna & Kaitlyn Bower; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. As well as family, she was much beloved by many friends. Kristy was baptized at Prestonwood Baptist Church on September, 30, 1984.

She attended both Parish Day School and Episcopal School of Dallas. Kristy attended University of Oregon, Washington University in Seattle and graduated from San Francisco College of Arts in 2005 as a graphic designer. She loved all sports, but was especially outstanding in soccer and tennis (playing both on varsity at ESD starting as a freshman). Kristy had a deep abiding love of all animals, but especially her new puppy, Rambo. She also loved travel, computers, hanging out with friends and being with her family. She had many challenges in life, but met each one with determination and optimism.

Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Kristy’s name to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
