Khoa Dinh Truong

KT was born on July 1, 1961 in Cam Ranh, Vietnam to Binh Van Truong and Hanh Le. He then immigrated to America with his family in 1982 following the Vietnam War. After settling in Dallas, he attended Eastfield College and then graduated with a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, Class of 1993.

KT met Lien Huong Nguyen in 1993 and later were married in July 1994 in Dallas, TX. In 1995 and 1997 respectively, KT and Lien were blessed with two children, Matthew and Michelle.

Over the years, KT worked for various companies such as Rockwell, MCI, Lucent, Transcom, Arrow, and with his most recent position as Network Engineering at RealPage. He was always considered a hardworking employee but more importantly enjoyed the networking aspect of his work environment. Even after leaving for new opportunities, he constantly made the effort to maintain those friendships with former colleagues while forming new ones.

KT had a beautiful, free spirit. He had a joyful heart and had so much love to give. He wholeheartedly took care of everyone who he crossed paths with, whether they were family, friends, or even neighbors. Anyone who has met KT can probably remember “Hey! How you doing?” followed by the biggest smile ever seen. A smile that resonates within you forever. KT was an ambitious man full of life and aspirations. During his free time, he enjoyed seeing the world and making memories with friends and family. Not only did he find joy in conversations, KT was also a food fanatic. He immersed himself in different cuisines and cultures. He definitely enjoyed the finer things in life, yet also appreciated the simplicity of it. KT truly cherished life for what it had to offer and treasured every moment of it.

He was preceded in death by his father, Binh Van Truong, and his mother, Hanh Le. He is survived by his wife, Lien Huong Nguyen, and his two children, Matthew and Michelle Truong.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 13, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 5:00 pm at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, TX

Visitation will also be held on Friday May 14, 2021 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home, 10501 Garland Road, Dallas, TX.

Funeral Service will be held on May 15, 2021 at 11:00 am at Saint Peter Vietnamese Catholic Church, 10123 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX. Committal Service will be held on May 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 3900 Rowlett Road, Rowlett, TX.
