Kerry Gene Darter May

Kerry Gene May was born November 8, 1951 in Victoria, Texas and died June 14th, 2011, in Plano, Texas. She attended Nazareth Academy and graduated from Stroman High School both in Victoria. Kerry attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches.

Kerry was predeceased by her grandparents Jess and Sarah Oliver; her parents Gene and Frankie Darter; and her in-laws Darrell and Angie May.

Kerry is survived by her husband Robert Darrell May and sons Alexander Haley May and Walker Holland May, Spec 2, U.S. Army; granddaughter Carlie May; grandson Thomas Calton, Carlie and Thomas’s mother Sabrina Burrow and Kerry’s special little buddy Calhoun.

She is also survived by her sister Karen Spence and husband Mark and their children Brooke and Joel Spence; sister-in-law Patricia Hinson her husband Dick and brother-in-law James May, his wife Pat, Aunt Gloria Quinones and Uncle, Jess Oliver, several cousins.

Services will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8919 U.S. Hwy. 87 North, Victoria, Texas at 10:00 AM, June 22nd, 2011.

Kerry will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors.

Her husband of twenty nine years, Robert, is blessed with the time he has had with Kerry and knows her as the one who loved him.
