Beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away March 14, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Wayne Pratt, who left this world on March 14, 2025. He was a proud veteran, a loving father and grandfather, a loyal brother, and a man whose presence filled every room with warmth and laughter.
Kenneth served his country with honor and distinction in the United States military for 20 years. Rising to the rank of E7 Sergeant, he was highly decorated and respected, known for his discipline, leadership, and unwavering commitment to his fellow soldiers. His military career was a reflection of the values he carried throughout his life — strength, perseverance, and a deep sense of duty.
Beyond his service, Kenneth was a passionate fitness and health enthusiast who believed in pushing boundaries and staying strong — both in body and spirit. He found joy in working on his home, always building, fixing, or improving something with care and pride. And of course, he was a jokester at heart, always ready with a quick wit or a funny story to lift spirits and bring a smile.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Della Pratt, and his brother, Robert Pratt. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Jessica Pratt; his beloved grandchildren, Kylee, Imri, and Onyx Smith; his sister, Nancy Lane; and his brothers, Larry Pratt, Charles Pratt, and Franklin Sullivan.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and perseverance — one that will live on through the stories shared, the values passed down, and the memories held close by all who knew and loved him.
Kenneth will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
