Kenneth August Barth

Kenneth August Barth, 94, of Corsicana Texas died April 1st 2015 after a short illness. Kenneth was the son of Ernest and Clardy Barth. He had recently moved from the Austin Texas area where he had lived for the previous fifteen years. He is survived by : his son Kenneth N. Barth Sr., Marsha Brittain Barth, and daughter Jo Ann Harris; Grandchildren: Ken N. Barth Jr, Krista Barth Pelayo, Holly Foster, and Michelle Pope; Great Grand-children: Alayna Pelayo, Kylee Barth, Brennan Barth, and Brittain Foster. After serving in WWII, Kenneth owned and operated an auto repair garage in the Rio Grande Valley and sold cars on the side. At age 65 he retired and moved from Mercedes to Port Isabel Texas where he could concentrate on his main hobbies of fishing and gardening. He and his now deceased wife (Estelle Blunt Barth) then moved to the Austin area to be closer to family. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Services will be held at the Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen Texas. The Date and time is to be determined.
