Kelly Jo Christensen

Kelly Jo Christensen, beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 4th, 2024, in Garland, TX, at the age of 56. Born on June 8th, 1967, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Phyllis and Donald Bennett, Kelly leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and boundless positivity.

Kelly's life was marked by her unwavering optimism and infectious smile. She had a remarkable ability to connect with others, never meeting a stranger and always welcoming everyone with open arms. Her radiant personality and bright outlook on life endeared her to countless friends and acquaintances.

Professionally, Kelly excelled in her role at Worldwide Express, where she touched the lives of colleagues and clients alike with her warmth and dedication. Outside of work, Kelly dedicated much of her time to volunteering and giving back to her community. She found immense joy in the simplest pleasures of life but cherished nothing more than her role as a mother and grandmother. Kelly's children, BreAnna (Jessi) and Austin (Andrea), along with her grandchildren, Aubree-Ella, Kaleeshia, Tinka, and Jesaikah, were the lights of her life.

As well as her children and grandchildren, Kelly is survived by her siblings: Karen Glenn (Toby - deceased), Tamra Semon, Shelly Haney (Bill), Donald Bennett, and Douglas Bennett, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Her family takes comfort in knowing that Kelly has been reunited with her parents and that she is dancing with the legendary Elvis Presley wearing blue, suede shoes.

Kelly will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. May her legacy of love continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
