Our beloved Keith Richard Hines, born August 3, 1983, passed peacefully and entered his eternal rest on January 25, 2023. He is survived by his parents Paul and Sandy Hines, his sister, Bernadette (Kevin, brother-in-law, Greenlee, Kelly and Chance, nieces and nephew) Kauinana, and his brother, Joey (Amanda, sister-in-law, Austin and Tiana, nephew and niece) Marquez.
Through his long history of illness, Keith’s devotion to his faith in Jesus Christ allowed him to pursue many things. He furthered his education at NSU (Northeastern State University), in Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in 2007. As well, he graduated in 2009 from UTSA (University of Texas, San Antonio) with a Master’s in Business Administration. He began his career teaching technology at Irving High School and retired in 2021 as a result of his illness.
Keith recently experienced the pride of home ownership, with the purchase of his home in December 2022. He was also pursuing a dream of a woodworking business and had purchased many tools for this adventure. Keith’s unwavering faith allowed him to continue to live, even though he was ill for many years. His pride for the things he was accomplishing shined through in his conversation. He also expressed his gratitude for the love and companionship his dogs brought to his life.
While Keith was still living with his parents, as an effective card player, he will always be remembered for being the one everyone wanted as their partner. He will be the one we think of when we embrace with a hug, as Keith gave the best hugs with his whole heart.
We are comforted knowing that Keith is at peace and with his creator, as Jesus Christ was the most important aspect of Keith’s life.
