Katie Hamlin

Katie worked mostly in retail. She enjoyed helping others. Katie is survived by Vicki Lister, daughter, Donald Simpson, Jr., son, grandsons Bradley Posey, Ryan Posey, Wesley Posey, Cody White and great grandson Landen Posey, siblings, Jean Franks, Micki Hendren, and Charles Morris. Katie was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Dale Hamlin, and her son, James White.

Katie was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and dear friend. She was always looking for ways to help those less fortunate. Her loving heart, beautiful smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by many.

A visitation for Katie will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Laurel Land Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232. Following the visitation will be a graveside service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6000 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
