Katie Jo Enloe, 35, passed away in the early morning hours of July 3, 2018, at her mother’s home in Dallas, TX, following a 6 month battle with leukemia. She fought a long and hard fight, and now she rests in the arms of her Savior. She was the wife of Jason Enloe for 9 years and mother to Emma and Madeline.
Born in Odessa, TX, she was the daughter of Jimmy and Debra Breaux and Eddie Harris. She graduated from Permian High School and went on to attend Angelo State University. She earned a second degree at Texas Women’s University. Before children, she was employed as a dental hygienist by Aspen Dental. In recent years, Katie was living out her dream of being a full-time mother to her two young daughters.
Katie has served as a member of the Junior League of Dallas, attended Grace Bible Church and was a member of the “Mommy Club” for almost six years ,where she truly delighted in the joys of motherhood. She enjoyed date nights with Jason, spending time with her family, supporting SMU golf, taking the kids to Disney World, shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and traveling to the Master’s tournament. In the evenings, she was likely to be found giggling while playing Nintendo with Emma. She will be remembered for being a woman who loved to live and lived to love. She has impacted many lives with her unwavering faith in God through all circumstances. Anyone who has had the privilege of calling her friend has been blessed by her generosity and her incredibly contagious smile.
