Kathryn LaVonne Martin

Kathryn LaVonne Martin, 81 years old of Dallas, Texas entered the arms of our loving Heavenly Father Thursday, January 25, 2024.

LaVonne was born in Dallas, Texas on December 6, 1942, to Ira & Catherine Pass also of Dallas, Texas.

She was a Beautician by trade and known for her stylish clothing, long manicured nails and blinged out jewelry. She was the life of the party and enjoyed expressing her creative side. But most of all, she loved God and went to several churches throughout the week just to be close to Him.

LaVonne is preceded in death by both her parents, her brother Homer Pass and sister, Gloria Lewis. Her son, Michael Gann, niece Kathy Pass, grandson, Joshua Gann and her great grandson, Elijah Gilliam.

LaVonne is survived by her children, Cheryl Mitchell, Teresa Anderson, Chris Pass, and Holly Martin. Her grandchildren, Joseph Barajas, Chelsey Coon, Brenton Coon, Zack Stewart, and Chance Pass. Four great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren. Her nephews, Tim and Greg Lewis, Joe Pass, two nieces Paula Eno and Karla Lawson as well as numerous other family, friends and her community of friends at Simpson Place are all left to cherish the life and legacy that she leaves behind.

The family of Kathryn LaVonne Martin would like to thank the staff and residents of Simpson Place Assisted Living, Destiny Hospice and Baylor Hospital, Dallas for all of the great love and care that they provided to her.
