Julia Rangel Hernandez, 96, passed away December 27, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. She was born August 3, 1924 in Albany, Illinois to Lazaro and Theodora Rangel. Julia was raised in area of Dallas, Texas known as Little Mexico. It was there she attended Cumberland and Crozier Tech.
She married Adolph Hernandez and the couple had five children. She was a seamstress and co-owner of the Airport Liquor Store in Dallas, Texas. In her spare time Julia enjoyed visiting casinos, bingo, and sewing. Her family and friends will always remember her as a strong independent women and loving mother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Adolph Hernandez and her son Salvador Hernandez.
She is survived by Ophelia Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, Frankie Hernandez, Marie Martinez, Irene Jimenez, Joe Jimenez, Edward Hernandez along with fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
