Juanita Newby was born May 24, 1923 in Dawson, TX, and passed away on October 22, 2015 in Dallas, TX.
Juanita was a member of Calvary First Baptist Church. When you think of Granny, you think of the smell of chocolate chip cookies baking, and picking pecans with her.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Newby; and siblings, Eva Fabor, Mattie Irving, Buell Crawford, and Lometa Barfknecht. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Holloway; and grandchildren, Denise Grimsley and Eddie Stutts; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 26, 6 – 8pm, and Funeral Services Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 10:00am, all at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
