I’m still here reading all the memories everyone has written about you tio, everyone loved you so much. You’re missed so so much. I’m just here having late night thoughts about you so I just thought I’d come write something. I promise to never forget about you, I will continue praying for you as well. Also, watch over all of us tio, we promise to take care of Tia for you don’t worry. We love you both so much.

Chico, there is so much I want to say....I miss the crap outta you. I really wish I could hear u tell me to "SHUT UP" one more time. I know you really loved me like a big brother because big brothers can be a lil mean sometimes, but you always said sorry to me.  I miss seeing you at work, it's not the same. I miss the way you would grab me and pick me up  by my coveralls, hahaha that was the BEST.  I always loved to pray with you and for you. I know your in a better place now. I am blessed to have had you in my life. I will never forget you and the love you showed Alfred and I.  I miss you. Till we meet again, rest in paradise big guy. I love u always.

Thank you for all the Saturday nights watching UFC and watching the Cowboys on Sunday. I wish I was more close to you, but I know you still loved me like one of your own. You meant everything to our family and we are broken without you. But I know we’ll be able to overcome this brokenness because you would want us to. Until we meet again Tio. Love and miss you.

  You left us with so many memories 
for us to share with anyone that ask about you. Like the time that we went to Chicago. We all agreed to go to the Willis Tower and you pretended that you were going to walk in the elevator with us. But when those elevator doors open,
 we all went in and you stepped back and said ; I really can’t go up there.  I’ll se you guys later.... that was one for your sister in-law to crack jokes on you that day. Even your mom could not stop laughing; that you didn’t get on :)

The carriage ride was another one.
That night we went out to dinner for Lety and Gordy‘s anniversary. When we got on that carriage it made a loud sound ,  you kept asking did we break it ? LOL !! Even the horse did not want to move, you kept saying that we were going to brake the horses back.  You made so many jokes that night, we laughed the entire way to the restaurant. 
When we got to that restaurant (RPM) you keep asking the Waiter for Giuliana  Rancic because your wife wanted to meet her... 
“ you and that wine tasting” 
The waiter brought a bottle of wine and you acted like you  new what you were doing with it. 
( your brother showed you how to wine taste that day )
 
Memories like this are so joyful to think about because they still make me laugh and will always make me laugh. All our trips  were always filled with laughter. I will miss these trips that we used to take with you and your brother , sister in law , your mom , your sisters,  your nephews and nieces. 
         I will always honor you and love you for the rest of my life here on earth.  I know how much you love me, you always showed it.

Chico is a great friend,  I am going to miss him..
I enjoyed going to his shop he would joke with me and we would have fun conversations, he gave me a nickname "Miyagi" . I will miss his calls asking me to find him a Painter or Body Techn  He will always be remembered and not forgotten.  R.I.P.  DEAR FRIEND

Where do I start... We have so many memories together at the shop   From playing jokes on each other, me hyping you up “left right left right left shake it” I can go on and on.   I will cherish every moment we had together.  I’m going to miss seeing you when I walk in the office and you buying us coffee from McDonald’s and you telling me it’s
 4 o’clock go home.  I didn’t know that Thursday January 14 was the last time I would tell you bye I’ll see you tomorrow but I know your not suffering anymore.  Love and miss you so much!! 

I’m going to miss going to the shop and seeing you in your office.  You would always give me money for the vending machine.  You would always dance in the doorway and make us laugh     Miss you Tio Chico!! 

I’m going to miss you, miss your laughs, your smile and your personality.  You were always there when someone needed you. I  always prayed for you and I will still pray for you.  Love you Tio Chico!! 

Chico was a father figure for me, he showed what a fathers love for his family was. He showed me what it meant to provide for your family and what it is to work hard and enjoy the days. I honestly have nothing but good talks and fun memories with Chico and I'm grateful to have had someone like him in my life.

You were a good guy in my book cousin !!!! Ill always remember the pat on the back ... and your big smile !!!  Rest on cousin !!!! 

When I look back at my Tio Chico, I see a protector, a teacher, a father figure, and a role model. Which is funny because he was one of the craziest most unpredictable  people I knew. One thing he was consistent with no matter what, was bringing joy to people. My tio Chico taught me a lot of what it means to be a man, a provider, and someone who others can look to and depend on. What he meant to me and to the people around him I think is hard to put into words. Just like Chico was hard to put into words. He was unique, my tio was special. One thing I know is I’ll never again meet someone like him. You’ll forever be with me tio, because you were and are unforgettable. I love you with all my heart and I know you’ll be doing what you can bending the rules we know to watch over us. I hope I can make you proud and give you back half of what you gave me. JJ will know how much you loved him and the funny comments you’d always make. I’m so so so hurt that he won’t get to know you the way I did. But I’ll do everything I can to give him a piece of that. Love you forever Chico.

I miss you so much tio, it hurts losing someone so close, i will always remember the memories we shared like when you took us on are first vacation it was so fun and when we would go to your house and you would make us try your crazy snacks but when we left you had no more food because we would eat all your food. I remember the time you made destiny and zoe fight and you said i know zoe’s gonna win then zoe punched destiny in the face and zoe ended up winning.

I REMEMBER...

Those far fetched stories you told that would keep us laughing to the point of side pain and an inhaler.  The acronym LMAO (probably  started after one of those crazy stories you told).   You could find humor in all situations, even in yourself.  Like the time you said if we crashed and fell off the side of the mountain , they wouldn't find us and a bear would feast on you for weeks.  But that was said only after your brother Gordy was driving like a mad man during a snow storm and you screeched  "Bro, slow down, you driving too fast, remember I got my wife with me Bro".  That really was code for "I'm scared, Bro".  You were really scared  and  I had some choice words with you .  Boy did we laugh over that one.  That back and forth banter we all had during road trips was priceless.

I remember, when you told Vegas Security that you didn't know who I was when I would lean in and say "Give me your Black Chips"... You could have had me thrown out of the Casino but I guess they figured out that you were joking and I wasn't bothering you, but watching over you.

I'm  HAPPY...

You let me taste/share some of your food.  That we enjoyed cups of coffee together.  That we prayed together.  I told you I loved you and that you were my brother.

I  LOVE...

How you and Gordy showed love to one another.  When I heard you sing, you had a beautiful voice.  Your smile.  Your compassion.  I love how we shared beautiful moments together;  How you understood that GOD blessed us with treasures here on Earth, like a Peaceful Lake Sunset.  You had the desire to come back and go fishing...

I will always remember our talks in the Hummer. And you turning on the lights and going fast. You loved to see my muscles and I got my muscles from you! I will always look up to you.  We both love cars. And we both love pizza! Your were the coolest grandpa. I will miss you.

There’s so much I can say about my pops. He was not only my father but my Best friend. My everything... he taught me so much and gave me the greatest gift in showing me how to love and take care of loved ones.  He left this world giving me opportunity and hope for a better future. I was so honored to have shared his name and was able to call him my father. He was the person I could tell anything too. He always told me I could tell him anything because he has already been through it, seen it, done it, and lived it. I’m so sad to say goodbye to my dad, my best friend. You were always up early Sunday morning and you’d always bring us Judy’s for breakfast. You always made everyone fight too! I won’t forget that lol!

I’ve known him for a couple of  years because I would deliver T-shirts to First Class. He was such a cool and polite dude. He would always greet me and we would chat for a few seconds. I could tell he was the life of the party. And I knew he loved his family because he would always mention them in our conversations. Just remember all the great memories that he left.May he rest in peace I know he will be missed.

To put my love for you into words, would mean writing a book. Tio, you understood the meaning of family. It’s as if the Lord came to you and said your vocation on earth was to love and protect. Although your methods were strange, I’d say you accomplished the life God set out for you. Cheering us up with goofy insults. Making us laugh with your funny voices. Making us smile with a old story after a long day. Asking for the green light to handle a problem for us. You knew I was a daddy’s girl, and being the little brother to my pops that you were, you never let me down. It’s no surprise we are saddened that you no longer walk with us on this earth. Even though our world is turned upside down without our Chico, you blessed us with an abundance of unconditional love and plenty of hood wisdom and lessons. The sun is literally emerging from the cloud as I type today. I feel your embrace as you shine through my window. I just wish it was a hug.

On Sunday January 17 at 11:02 am was one of the hardest days of my life. It was the day I had to say goodbye to my husband the love of my life. The pain I feel in my heart that he will no longer be by my side,
but I will grab the hand of Jesus and he will be with me through this. I want to thank everyone for the love that y’all have shown me and continue to show me and our family through this difficult time.
 Chico was a hard working man, he could sell you anything.  He was a person that could make you laugh and show you love. As we remember him, he will continue to make us laugh with all the stories he left behind. Chico loved me, his children and all his family so very much. He loved his mom so much, she meant the world to him. He just couldn’t hear of someone messing with his family because he would want to go pay them a visit. 
He wanted to protect every single one he loved. He always helped anyone that needed it. he did so much for other’s that sometimes he would forget to do for himself. 
 I know that God will give our children and I the strength we need to move forward and raise his grandchildren that he loved so dearly. God has given him the wings to fly and continue watching over us and protecting us. I will always carry him in my heart and   continue seeing him in my children’s eyes. Our grandkids will hear the stories he left behind. I want to thank God for the time he gave us here on earth. May you rest in peace my loving husband. LOVE YOU ALWAYS CHICO,
