Juan T. Castro

Juan T. Castro, age 76, passed away on June 15, 2018 in Dallas, TX. He was born on June 23, 1941 in Rancho Las Petronilas Cerritos de Rojas de Hahualulco San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Anacleta Torres and Francisco Castro. Juan was raised in San Luis Potosi. He married Trinidad Gutierrez Castro in 1979 and the couple had four children.

He was a chef at Wyndham Garden where he worked for more than 25 years. In his spare time Juan enjoyed relaxing with his wife and telling stories of his life in Mexico. His family and friends will always remember him as a hard-working man, great cook, a provider for all his children, a respectable and responsible man.

He is preceded in death by his wife Trinidad G. Castro, parents Anacleta and Francisco Castro, sister Margarita Castro, and Maria Castro.

Survived by brothers; Rafael, Gabriel, Alfonso, Felipe, sisters Natalia, Angelina, Delores, Felis Castro, Daughter San Juanita and Husband Walter Howell Son Adam and wife Laura Castro Daughter Cindy and husband Efrain Escobedo Daughter Christine Castro Daughter Rosa Elena Castro and husband Luis Hernandez Son Juan Castro and wife Eliza Elizerio Son Miguel Casto Son Joel Castro, Grand children Angel, Leonardo, Evolet, and Valdo Escobedo, Eric, Edward, Alicia, Jennifer, Ileana, Marisol, Xareni, Abraham, Jair, and Laura Castro Several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday June 18, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Gonzalez Funeral Home Chapel, 3050 N. Stemmons Fwy. Dallas, TX 75247 with a Rosary at 6 p.m. Funeral mass will be Tuesday June 19, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Calvary Hill North Chapel, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220 with Burial to follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery.
