Joshua David Pandit, 29, a wonderful son, brother, cousin, and grandson, passed away on the afternoon of June 15, 2011. You can’t think of Josh without smiling, even in this time of sorrow. He was blessed with a wild sense of humor and no matter what type of mood you were in, he could always make you laugh.
Josh was the oldest child of David and Vikki Pandit and was a loving brother to his sister, Tara Pandit. He is also survived by grandparents Shahu Pandit, Lee and Linda Pittman, Joan and Gus Lueck and was preceded in death by grandmother Ruby Pandit.
Josh was born on December 3, 1981 to a very loving family, and his care-free personality and good nature was evidence that he enjoyed his time here to the fullest. He was raised in Carrollton, TX where he graduated from Newman Smith High School in 2000. He cherished his Indian heritage as well as his American roots.
From a very young age, Josh was enamored with animals and spent most of his free time outdoors. He enjoyed reading and learning as much as he could about animals and often went to Wylie, TX to look at the wild cats with his sister Tara. He was happiest when he was at the family ranch with his Dad. Josh was a member of the Arlington Seventh-Day Adventist church.
He will be greatly missed by all of his family, friends and co-workers.
The family will greet visitors from 3pm-5pm on Sunday at Grove Hill. Funeral services will be held at Dallas First Church of Seventh-Day Adventists on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 10am.
